The 23rd Annual Tree of Memories
The twenty-third annual Tree of Memories took place between December 10 - 20, 2013. Eighteen trees from Brockton to Provincetown are adorned with lights and scallop shell ornaments that are inscribed with the names of a loved one. Remembrance ceremonies are held at each tree and attended by hundreds of family members.
All proceeds help support Hope Hospice and its mission to provide services that enhance the comfort and quality of life for people experiencing the impact of serious illness and loss.
If you didn’t have a chance to collect your shell before trees were removed and would like to have it, please contact Giving@HopeHealthCo.org.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who make this special event possible by drilling, inscribing and delivering the shells, assisting at the ceremonies, and to the TD Bank volunteers who help set up and dismantle the trees.
Thanks to Steve and Deidre Burke and Jeff of Acorn Landscaping & Irrigation for installing our trees, to Botello Lumber for donating the trees, and to the many community organizations, towns, and local businesses who host our trees on their properties
